| 1 | Book ‘On Scene’ with NCC on designated channel | |
| 2 | Park as near to the scene as safety permits; do not leave the vehicle | |
| 3 | Switch ‘OFF’ emergency lights unless required for scene safety | |
| 4 | Do not use vehicle hazard warning lights | |
| 5 | Don high visibility clothing, safety boots, and safety helmet | |
| 6 | Keys to remain with the vehicle, radio set to ‘LOW’ volume | |
| 7 | Leave driver’s window marginally (1/4) open | |
| 8 | Be prepared to take Command roles in the initial stages of incident | |

Do not attempt to rescue/treat casualties until relieved by Ambulance Supervisors or Managers
