KEY ROLE: Second arriving Unit either as an Ambulance or First Responder assuming initial Bronze Parking (Driver) & Bronze Primary Triage (Attendant) responsibilities until relieved by more senior commanders

SECOND AMBULANCE CREW OR RESPONDER
1 Book ‘On Scene’ with NCC on designated channel
2 Park as near to the scene as safety permits; do not leave the vehicle
3 Switch ‘OFF’ emergency lights unless required for scene safety
4 Do not use vehicle hazard warning lights
5 Don high visibility clothing, safety boots, and safety helmet
6 Keys to remain with the vehicle, radio set to ‘LOW’ volume
7 Leave driver’s window marginally (1/4) open
8 Be prepared to take Command roles in the initial stages of incident
