KEY ROLE: In order to assist HMCAS STAFF to remain in a safe environment & to identify a possible chemical incident/ attack, the ‘STEP 1-2-3’ approach should be adopted when attending emergency calls. This should be supplemented by the use of METHANE report as soon as is practical
